    Active ingredients

    • Melatonin in chemical notation

      Melatonin

      10 mg. A neurohormone and antioxidant that promotes sleepiness and helps maintain sleep. We have two versions of Tro+ Somna, one with and one without melatonin to fit your preferences and needs.
    • Muscimol in chemical notation

      Agarin

      2 mg. An orthosteric ligand of the GABA receptor, binding where GABA binds and increases GABA neurotransmission. Same compound found in the Fly Agaric mushroom (pure compound that contains no ibotenic acid).

    • Apigenin

      100 mg. A flavonoid found in various fruits and vegetables, it is a positive allosteric modulator of the GABA receptor and powerful antioxidant that further support neural and mitochondrial health.

    • Dihydrohonokiol-beta

      7.5 mg. Powerful derivative of honokiol and positive allosteric modulator (PAM) of the GABA receptor, promoting relaxation and reducing anxiousness.

    How many ingestible troches am I getting?

    There are 4 whole ingestible troches in each package and each ingestible troche can be cut into four quarters. Therefore, one pack can yield up to 16 doses, depending on your personalized needs. The ingestible troches are scored for easy titration.

    Start with 1/4 to 1/2 ingestible troche and increase the dosage until you reach your optimal dose, as directed by your healthcare provider.

    DO NOT exceed more than 2 whole ingestible troches in a 24-hour period unless otherwise directed.

    Are there any potential side effects from Tro+ Somna™? 

    Tro+ Somna™ is a sleep aid and as a result, it will cause sedation. Please do not operate any heavy machinery or drive while taking it. Make sure you have a sleep window of at least 6.5 hours before taking Tro+ Somna™ as well.  
    Are there contraindications for Tro+ Somna™?

    If you are taking any other medications for sleep or anxiety, please work closely with your provider before starting Tro+ Somna™. Please do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
