A buccal troche is a small lozenge that dissolves between your upper cheek and gums.

Swallowing supplements and drugs means they journey through your stomach and intestine, getting absorbed by the gut lining and later processed by the liver—a phenomenon known as first-pass metabolism. This route? It's not always quick, often taking anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

But with buccal troches, ingredients are delivered straight into your bloodstream via the cheek, skipping first-pass metabolism. The result? A rapid onset within 15 to 30 minutes, ensuring the ingredients maintain their strength.

And here's the cherry on top: given the cheek's proximity to the brain, troche ingredients make a swift dash there. Perfect for nootropics that light up your brain and equally useful for troches that offer relaxation, pain relief, sleep support, and more!

There are 4 whole troches in each package and each troche can be cut into four quarters. Therefore, one pack can yield up to 16 doses, depending on your personalized needs. The troches are scored for easy titration.

Start with 1/4 to 1/2 troche and increase the dosage until you reach your optimal dose, as directed by your healthcare provider.

DO NOT exceed more than 2 whole troches in a 24-hour period unless otherwise directed.

If used as a buccal troche, yes. The rate of discoloration varies between 2 to 24 hours.

Warning: In addition to being a star ingredient, methylene blue is a dye. It will temporarily stain your mouth (including your teeth). If you have any concerns about dental work and/or prolonged staining, please consult your dentist. Blue tongue resolution speed will depend on how much you move it around when it is dissolving and the amount you use. There is no quick antidote but if you want to reduce the blue faster we have included tips below.

When methylene blue is reduced, it decolorizes. Reducing agents such as sodium bicarbonate — add 1/4 tsp baking soda in 4 fl oz water and rinse the mouth with it for a few minutes — should reduce the methylene blue. This should be done ideally 5-10 minutes after the troche has fully dissolved. Since the reaction is acid-catalyzed, rinse the mouth with 1 part vinegar, and 1 part water first, right before rinsing with baking soda, which would hasten the decolorizing reaction. We also find that hot liquids help as well!

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a long-established FDA-approved drug delivery method used around the world, especially by compounding pharmacists. Do not confuse polyethylene glycol with propylene glycol. The latter is antifreeze and will kill you if you drink it… so please don’t do that!

Cordecypin is an immune system booster, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-infective, enhancer of deep sleep, and may improve metabolic health. When you are starting it, take it at night, before bed. However, if you are adventurous, take it in the morning at 1/4 dose with Blue Cannatine or your morning coffee for a massive energy boost at the gym or to rock your workday.

75 mg of cordycepin per troche.

Before taking Tro Mune, speak to your healthcare provider if you are taking any prescribed medications or if you have hepatic or renal impairment.

Clinical evidence on the interactions of cordycepin with drugs and supplements is limited and is based on a theoretical understanding of its pharmacological actions rather than direct evidence. Caution is especially advised for the following:

• Diabetic drugs
• Hypertensive drugs
• Chemotherapeutic drugs
