To avoid the risk of serotonin syndrome, do not use methylene blue if you are taking serotonergic drugs such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI), serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRI), or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOi) unless otherwise instructed by your healthare provider.
