Why does it contain polyethylene glycol (PEG)?

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is a long-established FDA-approved drug delivery method used around the world, especially by compounding pharmacists. Do not confuse polyethylene glycol with propylene glycol. The latter is antifreeze and will kill you if you drink it… so please don’t do that!

Our formulations use polyethylene glycol that is both non-absorbable and very low dose, meaning that it does not get absorbed into your body and it will not cause GI distress or any of those other symptoms/issues that you may have heard about.

How many troches am I getting?

There are 4 whole troches in each package and each troche can be cut into four quarters. Therefore, one pack can yield up to 16 doses, depending on your personalized needs. The troches are scored for easy titration.

Start with 1/4 to 1/2 troche and increase the dosage until you reach your optimal dose.

DO NOT exceed more than 2 whole troches in a 24-hour period.

Are there any contraindications to taking Tro Mune?

Do not take Tro Mune if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Helps with Epstein Barr Symptoms

This is a game changer!

I discovered Tro Mune when I was at the tail end of a cold. Respiratory illness, allergies and asthma all add up to mean that the common cold is always uncommonly difficult for me to navigate. I layer all the meds and nasal sprays just to survive. Moving to more natural alternatives has helped, but it's ridiculous how often I end up on steroids or antibiotics due to complications of a cold. So the first time I took Tro Mune was in the evening. I took half a troche and was able to sleep without Benedryl. I used Tro Mune two nights in a row. The 3rd night I didn't take anything and woke up in the middle of the night not able to breathe due to congestion. So I kept taking Tro Mune until I didn't need anything to sleep and breathe at the same time. This is so far superior to waking up when 4-hour meds wear off! I've had to layer 24-hr allergy meds with nasal sprays and 4-hr anti-histamines to get through the night. Tro Mune is a game changer!
